General rules - Breaking these rules can and will get you banned!
- Only upload lossless versions of bootlegs in torrents. Uploading MP3-based torrents is forbidden; do it once and you're on probation, twice and you're done.
- IndieRiver.net is only for uploading bootlegs via BitTorrent. If you seed or leech copyrighted material, you will be: 1) banned from ever using IndieRiver again 2) reported to
the artist whose copyright your are abusing and 3) possibly reported to the FBI if you're a snit about it. We're not joking around here, folks: we want to share the bootleg love,
and the artists want our help in doing that, but abusing their copyright is a violation of Federal laws.

Downloading rules - By not following these rules you will lose download privileges!
- Access to the newest torrents is conditional on a good ratio! (See the FAQ for details.)
- Low ratios may result in severe consequences, including banning in extreme cases.

Avatar Guidelines - Please try to follow these guidelines
- The allowed formats are .gif, .jpg and .png.
- Be considerate. Resize your images to a width of 150 px and a size of no more than 150 KB.
(Browsers will rescale them anyway: smaller images will be expanded and will not look good;
larger images will just waste bandwidth and CPU cycles.) For now this is just a guideline but
it will be automatically enforced in the near future.
- Do not use potentially offensive material involving porn, religious material, animal / human
cruelty or ideologically charged images. Mods have wide discretion on what is acceptable.
